Ann Arbor Mediterranean Market: Your Destination for Authentic Mediterranean Flavors

Only place I go in Ann Arbor for all things middle eastern and Mediterranean!! They literally have everything and rest assured if they don’t, they will get it for you if you ask! The owners are amazing and have amazing customer service. They make you feel as if you’re family, and the butcher is super friendly and accommodating, not to mention the quality of the Halal meat is immaculate. Definitely recommend this place for pretty much all your needs!

This is a great place for all people looking for halal food or looking for Mediterranean/Middle Eastern authentic items. It is of a good size and has all the spices, nuts and dairy product that are found in the middle east and many others as well. It has a halal meat section, a section for locally made appetizers such as hummus, grape leaves and tabbouleh. It also has a bakery section where you can find all sort of pies such as meat/spinach and pizza. Has its own parking and a bus stop right in front it. Overall I highly recommend it and will be doing some of my shopping here in the future.

This is a newly renovated shocked by new owners. They have done an incredible job bringing if not hundreds, thousands of new items from around the world. The butcher shop is clean and friendly with great quality of HALAL meat. Also the in house BAKERY is wonderful for grabbing a fresh variety of bread . You also will find nuts heaven, any kind you want. If you walk in don't forget the magnificent OLIVE BAR Soon they will provide delivery.

A very nice market with all the food needs and luxuries that you don't . The owner and employee's are wonderful. Check them out, instead of Meijer or Kroger for a unique experience !!!!!

I go here whenever I can for....in order: fresh baked breads, cold deli hummus, garlic sauce, feta, tabbouli, olive bar, and bulk spices and grains. The cheese and produce sections are also great for mideastern cuisine. The staff and customers are all friendly and have hard to find things like certain tobaccos and hookah. I haven't tried the halah meats.

Legendary mediterranean market. In house pita bread. Best butcher in town. Everything you could possibly need at good prices.

The best grocery selection in Ann Arbor, Fresh bread there and great selection of cold mazes and olives, sections and shelves are always organized and Clean. Great options of chocolate and gifts.

This place is the real thing. You walk in and the smell hits you like food is supposed to hit you. Not processed. Not sanitized. Spices that actually smell alive. Bread that still carries heat. Meat that looks like it was handled by someone who gives a damn. The deli doesn’t fake it. Shawarma carved the right way, juicy, aggressive, unapologetic. Falafel with a real crust and a soft center, not those dry little green lies most places sell. Hummus that tastes like chickpeas, garlic, oil, and intention instead of bland beige paste. Every bite says this wasn’t designed by a committee. The market side is stacked with things you don’t find in chain stores because chain stores don’t trust people to know what good food is. Real olive oils. Bulk spices that smell like they were ground recently instead of five years ago. Rice, beans, teas, sweets that exist because people actually eat them, not because they look good on a shelf. And the prices don’t insult you. No markup for vibes. No fake authenticity tax. Just solid food at fair prices, like that used to be normal. This is one of those places that reminds you food is culture, not branding, and Ann Arbor would be weaker without it.
